Alumni Association – C.S.M.'s Arts & Commerce College, Chakan

Alumni Association is aimed at serving as a platform to bridge the present and the former students of the Institution. The interaction of the members shall ensure the upliftment of both present and future alumnus. It shall support to build a social, knowledgeable and motivational forum for the College and its students.

To connect the former students with the College and bridge the communication gap between the alumnus and students.

To promote exchange of academic and corporate experience with the students of the College.
To promote a sense of belongingness among both the alumni and present students.
To help to develop a charitable and entrepreneurial mindset among students.
To advice and conduct activities that shall motivate and upgrade student skill sets.
To work for up gradation of technologies and to improve the college assets that shall fulfill industrial expectations.
To associate with the College management in planning and execution of alumni events.

To help the college students for their all-round development.
To update the physical resources of the college and contribute to them.
To honour, appreciate and felicitate the scholarly students and teacher guides with the help of awards and certificates.
To organise cultural programs, drawing competitions, lecture series, seminars, workshops, Elocution and debate competitions, Essay writing competitions for the development of the students.
To awaken the parents to stop the dropout of the students from the college.
To increase the public participation in the programs of the college for the college development.
To organise competitive examination guidance and personality development programmes in the college.
To organise a get-together program of all the former students of the college.
To arrange the sports training for the interested students, to organise various sports competitions and arrange the prize distribution program for the winners and participants.
To start initial schools residential settlement schools and orphanage for socially and economically backward and brilliant students.
To start gymnasium and library with reading hall for the students.
To start the scholarships for the brilliant and studious students of the College.
To arrange teacher-parents meeting for the educational awareness and to provide the school with essential educational tools.
To observe various festivals along with Independence Day on 15th August and Republic Day on 26 January as national festivals and other festivals.
To provide the socially and economically backward and brilliant students with educational instruments and tools, books, notebooks, clothes and other essential utensils.
To start hostels, boarding schools for the socially and economically backward as well as Adivasi students to provide them with various scholarships. To help such type of students to get Government scholarships. To start book banks for such needy and brilliant students of the college.
To help the brilliant and scholarly students from the adivasi, socially and economically backward strata of the society to get the higher education in India as well as abroad.
To create the interest among the college students about various sports and exercises. To arrange the trainings for them and distribute among them the tools of exercise. To organise the tournaments of various types of sports.
